Community Centre design project:
Designed for the Woodland Cree people of Beaver Lake in Northern Alberta, is Beaver Lake Community Centre. This community centre's main goal is to serve as a space for teaching and provide an opportunity for all to engage in traditions, values, and the teachings of the past to ensure their culture is not forgotten through the generations.

A strong focus on natural materials including wood, stone and other elements of biophilia that are directly reflective of the surrounding environment are essential to the overall success of the design, as the Woodland Cree's distinct history denotes a significant connection to the land.
