INTERIOR DESIGN

BETH BROWN

About

About

Since being in the interior design program, Beth was amazed to learn about the role interior designers have in the world and the responsibilities that come with it. She was inspired to learn about the impact our interiors have on us, and how they can enhance well-being, encourage connection and interaction, and can reflect the individuality of the people it is designed for.

In Beth's career, she hopes to create meaningful and thoughtful interiors that will better the lives of those who use the space.

Beth is a 2022 graduate student from the interior design, BID program at Vancouver Island University.

Growing up in the small town of Ladysmith BC, Beth spent most of her younger years exploring the outdoors, for the most part by the ocean. She was homeschooled from grade 5-11 giving her opportunities to explore her passions in the world. She discovered her love for animals, children, and plants, taking advantage of opportunities to volunteer at daycares, animal shelters and maintaining her own garden.

Beth is passionate about sustainable design and is determined to create spaces with low ecological footprints. She is also very passionate about incorporating Biophilia into design.

She hopes to one day travel the world with her career in design, creating spaces that reflect the beauty and uniqueness of each culture.
